FOCUS ON GROWING OLDER TOGETHER:
A COMMUNITY-BASED INTERGENERATIONAL ART THERAPY PROGRAM with Julianne Hertz, ATR-BC, adjunct faculty
Julianne will present about an intergenerational art therapy group she ranwith older adults and adolescents based on the theme of growing older.Each participant was given a single use camera and was asked to photographtheir individual experiences of growing older. The intergenerational groupmade artwork using the photographs as the basis for the creative explorationof individual, group and generational experiences of growing older.Participants used mixed media techniques including: collage, photo transfer,painting and 3-D construction.
