February 27-28 and March 1st 2014 Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala We are so excited to have two of our own Expressive Arts Therapy Faculty, Mitchell Kossak and Angelica Pinna Perez, presenting at the 1st Latin American Regional Symposium of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association The conference, Weaving The Americas/Tejiendo las Americas, brings together Expressive Arts Therapists from across Latin America. Their workshop entitled, Drumming up the primordial somatic unconscious, is listed with the following description: Art, in all its forms, makes manifest the unconscious embodied energies. The arts grant the soul an avenue for expression and an opening to self-awareness. By playing with prmordial energies, expressive arts attempt to create a deeper resonance with universal truths.
