Expressive Arts Therapy

Their workshop entitled, Drumming up the primordial somatic unconscious, is listed with the following description: Art, in all its forms, makes manifest the unconscious embodied energies. Alumni spotlight Over the next several months as a run up to my sabbatical (yes, I will be on sabbatical from July 2014-July 2015), I will be spotlighting several of our alum and students.   This is a project I have wanted to do for years, but just felt daunted by all the day-to-day work.   Over my sabbatical I hope to really get at what it is that we as expressive arts therapists do, and in particular I hope to look at the integrated arts specialization and it's students, alum, and professionals.   We have the most incredible group of people dedicated to this subversive project - connect, express, engage, listen, love, make, art!
